BRIAN MITCHELL
After a successful 14-year National Football League (NFL) career, former Washington Football Team great Brian Mitchell embarked on a successful radio and TV career and is currently the co-host of The BMITCH and Finlay Show on 106.7 The Fan, an Intercom radio station.

On television, Mitchell serves as analyst and co-host of many of the Redskins focused sports shows.  On NBC Sports Washington shows Redskins 100, Countdown to Redskins Training Camp, and Training Camp Daily, Brian delivers extensive analysis and commentary covering the top regional and national sports stories daily. As an NFL analyst, he is featured on the network’s Washington Redskins game-day shows, Redskins Kickoff Live and Redskins Postgame Live.

As a player, Mitchell spent 14 years in the NFL as a return specialist and running back from 1990 to 2003, including 10 seasons with the Redskins. He also spent three years with the Philadelphia Eagles and one with the New York Giants. In 223 games, he gained more than 23,000 all-purpose yards, which is second on the all-time NFL list. He recorded 13 career special-teams touchdowns, which also ranks second in NFL history.

A Super Bowl Champion with the Redskins in 1992, Mitchell was named an NFL All-Pro three times and was a Pro Bowler in 1995. He was inducted into the Redskins ‘Ring of Fame’ in 2009 and was named to the team’s 70th Anniversary Team. Mitchell played collegiately at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, which is now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Additionally, Brian is a keynote and motivational speaker across the United States and is involved in several philanthropic endeavors.
