At Coffee Creek Media Group, our mission is to close the literacy gap and increase representation in children’s literature. Through our Lil’ Marco and Friends series, we create diverse, engaging stories that help children see themselves reflected in the books they read. We believe that every child deserves access to stories that inspire, empower, and foster a love for reading.
Founded by award-winning author Sharon Jones-Scaife, Coffee Creek Media Group is committed to making a lasting impact by partnering with schools, libraries, and communities to provide children with books that promote inclusivity and diversity. Our interactive offerings, such as the Lil’ Marco mascot, mobile library, and literacy events, bring stories to life, creating memorable experiences for young readers.
We also support aspiring authors through workshops and publishing services, helping to bring new, diverse voices to children’s literature. Together, we are shaping a future where all children can experience the joy of reading.

Frog Pond Publishing
Frog Pond Publishing was founded on July 16, 2018 as a division of Coffee Creek Media Group. Our philosophy is simple, to publish a small number of titles so that each book could be supported by an extraordinary amount of editorial attention, marketing, and publicity.
Frog Pond Publishing published its first two children’s book in 2018, I Miss You, Papa and Mrs. Hughes is Missing.
